It works well for downtown Redding stays, medical or business travel, Bethel visits, and quiet getaways with lakes, trails, and waterfalls nearby. Morning coffee on the patio, then come back to cool AC, fast Starlink WiFi, a washer and dryer (bring your own detergent), and off-street parking steps from the door.
You have the full space to yourselves. It sits under the owners’ home, so you may hear soft footsteps above. Pets are welcome: dogs and cats under 25 lbs, limit 2. A pet fee applies.

Don and Rhonda are exceptionally friendly, generous, and helpful hosts. They kindly allowed us to store our luggage even after we had checked out. We also accidentally broke one of their wine glasses, and they graciously chose not to charge us for it. Most importantly, during our stay I experienced back stiffness and inflammation, and they thoughtfully provided me with some ibuprofen, which was a great help. I highly recommend this beautiful homestay—truly a five-star experience.
