Avoid If You Value Your Privacy, Unsafe Experience.

The apartment is beautiful, but there are a lot of stairs to reach it. The elevator is old and sometimes does not work properly.

The family constantly harassed us and entered the apartment without permission, even while I was taking a shower. The bed sheets were dirty, and the smell was unbearable. We simply asked if it was possible to have clean sheets without complaining about the terrible odor. The owner’s father came to bring us another set of sheets and asked what the problem was. To avoid offending them, we only said that the sheets smelled a little musty. About 15 minutes later, the mother walked into the apartment without knocking, as if it were her own home, shouting that the sheets smelled fine because they had a special “profumo”. That “profumo” was actually the smell of sweat and dirt. She kept us there for an hour and a half, even though we repeatedly told her that everything was fine and that we needed to leave. When we arrived, I showed our passports/ID cards for the check-in, which is completely normal. However, afterwards their son started sending us messages every 15 minutes while we were sightseeing, asking where we lived and requesting photos of our passports and our credit cards. At that point, I became very suspicious because it is illegal to keep copies of guests’ personal documents without a valid reason. We had already stayed in 12 different apartments during our month and a half in Italy, and nothing like this had ever happened. Since I did not reply to his messages, the next day the father entered the apartment again while I was finishing getting dressed. He became aggressive, insisting that he wanted to take our passports to make copies during our check-out. I had no idea what was happening. He even followed me all the way to our car. The entire experience was intimidating, invasive, and made us feel extremely unsafe. I would never recommend staying here.

Nice apartment with service minded host.

Newly renovated and fresh apartment with easy access to public transport. The host, Giordano, was very communicative and welcoming, and also recommended us restaurants in the neighbourhood, one with a discount (we tried it and the food was great). The apartment is well equipped, we especially appreciated the coffee machine and washing machine. There is shampoo, soaps, laundry detergent, iron etc - all the things you need and really do not want to bring.
