Lovers of authenticity, nature, magic, this small typical stone sheepfold on an 80m plumb above the river offers a magnificent view of the mountains, sunrises and starry nights. To access the sheepfold, you leave the road behind: a 350 m track goes down to the house. Accessible by car, it adds a little touch of adventure before discovering your haven of peace. For those who don't want to go down by car, you can leave the car parked before the access and go down on foot. The sheepfold is located at an altitude of 400m, 1 hour from Nice, you will find rest there, for moments of joy and tranquility. The house is small and friendly, it is perfect for nature lovers. Do not hesitate to contact us for more information. We are next door in a second wooden house totally independent to help you discover the region if you wish. You will arrive in a secret and preserved place.
The terrain is resolutely anti-monotony: hilly, steep and full of relief! For this reason, access is unfortunately not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
The exteriors: in a relaxing spirit, the large wooded field is a call to outdoor life, with a bird's-eye view of the river below and the forest.
Wild camping option: want to sleep under the stars or add more beds! It is quite possible to pitch tents on the land for a total immersion experience.
The deck: perfect mattresses for sunbathing, reading in peace or meditating in front of the panorama.
Leisure: a ping-pong table for tournaments after a day of hiking.
Activities and discovery: located between the picturesque villages of Roquesteron and Sigale, the sheepfold is the perfect place to stay for outdoor enthusiasts, swimming in the emerald basins of the Esteron, hiking, absolute idleness in the shade of the trees. Access to the river can be done on foot in 10 minutes by a private mule track to arrive in a privileged site. Car access from the road allows you to go to the bridge of Sigale and leads to a small and very popular river beach.
