It was 3 minutes away from 2 large dog parks so it was easy to take the dogs somewhere they could run around and play. It was also empty most times. It's also just minutes away from grocery shopping and the main strip where all the restaurants and shops are.
The interior of this property is beautifully decorated, and the location is extremely convenient. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and overall upkeep left quite a bit to be desired.
There was a noticeable amount of trash, litter, and debris throughout the front yard, which seemed to attract a lot of flies near the entrance. Every time I opened the door, several flies would make their way inside, leaving me having to chase them around to get them out.
Inside, I noticed confetti and debris scattered across the floors in several rooms upon arrival, some of which I ended up cleaning myself. The microwave door also gets stuck when trying to open it.
A few simple improvements would make a big difference for future guests, including better-quality kitchen utensils (the current ones are extremely small, almost child-sized), extra garbage bags, and a Swiffer or similar floor cleaner.
I also reached out to ask whether some type of partial credit could be offered for the inconveniences. I was offered a $20 credit to my Booking.com account, which I appreciated at the time. However, two months later, I still have not received the promised credit, which has been disappointing.
Overall, the property has a lot of potential. The interior is lovely, and the location is excellent, although navigating the corner and entrance can be a little tricky. With better attention to cleanliness, exterior maintenance, and guest concerns, this could be a wonderful place to stay.
I hope the owner takes this feedback constructively, as these are all relatively simple improvements that would make a significant difference in the guest experience.
