Das Haus liegt abgeschieden in ruhiger Lage. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Größe des Hauses, in einigen Räumen wurde offensichtlich gerade frisch gestrichen.
Bevor wir eincheckten, haben wir für 4 Tage Lebensmittel gekauft, mussten dann aber feststellen, dass in der in die Jahre gekommen Küche zwar Teller und Besteck verfügbar war, neben einer schwarz-verbeulten Spiegeleipfanne und drei klitzekleinen Töpfen keinerlei Küchenutensilien vorhanden waren. Kein Schneidebrett, keine Sieb für Nudeln, keine Schüsseln zur Salatzubereitung - nichts. Wir konnten nichtmal für zwei Personen Nudeln mit Bolognaise kochen, weil es selbst dafür keine ausreichenden Küchenutensilien gab. Das Internet funktionierte ausschließlich in der Küche, aber nicht in den Schlafräumen oder im Wohnzimmer. (Steht deshalb der Fernseher auch in der Küche, statt im Wohnbereich?) Als wir die Umstände reklamierten, lag am Folgetag eine Plastiktüte mit einem gebrauchten Modem und EINEM Topf auf der Fensterbank. Help yourself - der Vermieter sitzt blöderweise in Australien. Am Ende konnten wir unsere eingekauften Lebensmittel bei unserem 4-tägigen Aufenthalt wegen fehlender Küchenutensilien leider nicht zubereiten. Wie um alles in der Welt soll man sich in einem 6-Personen-Haus so selbstversorgen? In der großen Tiefkühltruhe schwamm eine Schicht übel riechendes Tauwasser am Boden - echt eklig. Ein kleines finanzielles Entgegenkommen vom Vermieter wäre bei den reklamierten Mängeln angebracht gewesen.
Auch unschön: Im gesamten Haus dienen krumm und schief abgeschnittene Teppichreste als Teppichläufer und Vorleger. In drei Schlafzimmern mit 6 Schlafgelegenheiten gab es EINE funktionierende Nachttischlampe. Insgesamt wirkte das Haus "klamm" und man bekam einen muffigen Geruch beim Betreten in die Nase.
