The house and garden were perfect for a quiet and relaxed stay in the Umbrian mountains. Check-in was in person and friendly. I was even surprised by fresh flowers, a fruit basket, water and fresh eggs from the chicken in the fridge. Besides this the kitchen was well equipped. The cats were adorable and the garden was equipped with many places to enjoy the beautiful view on the mountains. Although the house was situated on the mountain, the street was good (mostly tarmac road) and was easy to reach. When you know the right way to go it's just a five minutes drive down the hill to strada statale 3 and Valtopina.
There was a problem with the flush, what made flushing a bit inconvenient but I was told that it will get fixed. For longer stays it would be good to have some things for doing laundry (hand wash) like a basket or clothes horse. Since the house is old and very close to nature, there were many bugs and even a small scorpion (not poisonous) in the house. I didn't mind but you should know before booking if you are afraid of those animals.

la posizione meravigliosa immersa totalmente nel verde, con vista spettacolare su tutte le montagne circostanti, e il silenzio interrotto soltanto dal canto dei grilli e dal miagolio dei gatti; la presenza di sedie sdraio, amache, tavoli e panche, scalette e salterini per bambini, porta da calcio, libri di arte e di moda da sfogliare, insomma tutto il necessario per rilassarsi e godere il posto; tanti animali per la gioia di adulti e bambini (gatti, galline, oche, papere); la gentilezza dell'host che ci ha fatto trovare uova fresche e vari generi di conforto ed è stata sempre reperibile per ogni necessità
la strada impervia per raggiungerla e le indicazioni non chiarissime (vari tornanti di montagna con una forte pendenza e un breve tratto di sterrato; andrebbero aggiunti dei cartelli lungo il percorso, magari illuminati per chi arriva di sera, x facilitare l'accesso). La casa inoltre era abbastanza spartana (seppur non le mancasse niente) e non c'erano le zanzariere a tutte le finestre, quindi era impossibile tenere aperto se non si voleva essere assaliti dai numerosissimi insetti (normali ovviamente in campagna)

La casa è in un luogo un po' sperduto, non date retta a Google Maps ma alle indicazioni della proprietaria! È davvero rilassante, in mezzo alla natura e molto ben tenuto, il salone è ampissimo e se fosse stato inverno avremmo volentieri acceso il camino. La cucina è ben attrezzata, il frigo molto capiente. C'è anche un recinto con del pollame e dei gattini che passano a far visita. Bisogna tenere in conto che il bagno non ha il bidet e anche gli insetti possono far capolino, ma i posti nella natura sono così.
Siamo stati tutti e 5 molto bene, grazie ancora per averci accolti!

Posizione appartata dal rumore e molto tranquilla, è un oasi di pace. Letti comodi, casa accogliente e ben attrezzata, bravissima la gestore.
