About this house rental
Escape to the mountains at this charming cabin, where rustic character and modern comforts come together in a peaceful woodland setting. Surrounded by rolling, tree-covered hills, this inviting retreat offers spacious gathering areas, relaxing amenities, and plenty of room to enjoy time with family and friends.
Inside, vaulted ceilings and warm wood finishes create a welcoming atmosphere in the spacious living room. Settle into the comfortable leather seating beside the gas fireplace and enjoy a movie on the large smart TV after a day of outdoor adventure. The adjacent chef's kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with updated appliances, a deep farmhouse sink, and ample counter space for preparing everything from quick breakfasts to memorable dinners. A second kitchenette in the studio space provides additional flexibility for preparing snacks and meals.
When it's time to unwind, enjoy a relaxing soak in the bathtub or refresh in the walk-in shower. A separate laundry room adds convenience during longer stays, while the shuffleboard table offers a fun way to spend time together indoors.
Outside, the expansive grounds invite you to slow down and enjoy the fresh mountain air and peaceful wilderness views. Fire up the gas grill for an outdoor meal, gather with loved ones, and take in the natural surroundings.
Adventure is never far away, with Beaver Mountain Trailhead and the scenic landscapes of Rio Grande National Forest within a short drive. During winter, head to Wolf Creek Ski Area for a day on the slopes before returning to the comfort of your mountain retreat.

Loved being able to spend time with our children and grandchildren. Poppy’s Place was large enough to accommodate all of us. This beautiful home was nestled in the mountains and each morning it was a treat to soak in the views. Centrally located, you were in the heart of fishing, golfing, hiking and just relaxing.
