House in Piombino
Reasons to book
About this house rental
Our two-bedroom apartment is located on Piombino’s waterfront, with a wraparound terrace and balcony offering a direct view of the historic Torrione and Rivellino — the medieval fortress complex that once guarded the old harbor. Watch the Elba ferries come and go while sipping your morning espresso, walk just a few minutes to the nearest beach, and find yourself perfectly situated for a week (or two) on Tuscany’s Etruscan Coast.
This is a genuine local home, not a polished rental—it’s where families come to slow down, cook with ingredients from the morning market, and discover the part of Tuscany that most international travelers never reach.

Getting Here & Parking
The apartment is located just outside the historic center, conveniently outside the ZTL (limited-traffic zone), so you can come and go freely by car. Nearby streets such as Via Leonardo da Vinci offer both free and paid parking, which can be easily managed through the EasyPark app. The building has three flights of stairs and no elevator—an easy climb for most, but something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with very young children or have limited mobility.
The View
The terrace overlooks the Torrione Pisano and Rivellino, the 13th-century stone fortress that once defended Piombino’s harbor from pirate raids. Beyond it: the open Tyrrhenian Sea, the ferries to Elba crossing day and night, and on clear days, the silhouettes of Elba, Capraia, and even Corsica on the horizon. Sunsets here bathe the entire bay in gold—bring a glass of local wine out to the terrace and you’ll understand why we chose this spot. This is the view you’ll remember.
