Completely and meticulously renovated by Fabien, a passionate farmer and heir to this family property, this gîte for 6 people harmoniously blends old-world charm with modern comfort. The soul of the place has been preserved through magnificent period features, such as an old cow trough and a grape press, authentic reminders of the Lauragais region's agricultural past. Outside, everything is designed to help you savor the art of living in Southwest France: an above-ground pool to cool off, a covered terrace ideal for meals in any season, and not one but two pétanque courts for friendly games in a truly local atmosphere. Laundry facilities include a washing machine and cleaning products. Ground floor: living room (open-plan kitchen, dining area, and lounge), separate WC. First floor: 3 bedrooms (each with two single beds, 90x200cm, which can be joined together), shower room, WC. Reversible air conditioning in the living room, electric heating and fans in the bedrooms. Sightseeing ideas around Beauteville: Discover the famous Canal du Midi (En Borrel lock, 5km away), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a leisurely boat trip. Explore the fortified town of Villefranche-de-Lauragais and its lively traditional market (9km away, shops, market, and restaurants). Immerse yourself in history at the Cité de Carcassonne, a must-see medieval gem less than an hour away, as is the Château de Foix.
