The “Sea View Villa” is situated in a prime location just under 50 meters from the beach! And in general, the house is a great starting point for everything you’d want to do on vacation:
Restaurants, a playground, a skate park, and kiosks are all nearby. A bakery, bike rentals, and—for the more athletic guests—a fitness center can also be found within an 800-meter radius.
You can conveniently park your car in the house’s parking lot (usually an underground garage)—and feel free to leave it there. It’s best to get around here on foot or by bike. Public buses run several times a day to Heiligenhafen or Fehmarn, so you have plenty of flexibility. In general, Großenbrode is a great starting point for all kinds of bike tours: you can reach Heiligenhafen in just over an hour—a bit faster on an e-bike—or you can enjoy the unique view from the Fehmarnsund Bridge and bike directly to Fehmarn.
*Many offers are seasonal and subject to availability; fees apply; subject to change! If you’re dreaming of gently sloping beaches, glowing sunsets, and relaxation for the whole family—then come to Großenbrode on the Fehmarnsund. The wide, sandy Baltic Sea beach is perfect for digging in the sand and building sandcastles. Little water lovers and swimming enthusiasts can splash around to their heart’s content in the shallow waters of the Baltic Sea. Nearby, you’ll find shopping, playgrounds, restaurants, and a variety of recreational activities. Großenbrode has its own train station. The island of Fehmarn is only about 4 km from Großenbrode, and the Warder town of Heiligenhafen (about 10 km away) also invites you to visit. Here, in addition to the traditional fishing port, you’ll find one of Germany’s largest and most modern marinas, a pier over 500 meters long, and a kilometer-long swimming beach.
