The Eifelkind house was built in 1975 and has undergone continuous energy-efficiency renovations. The most recent renovation was completed in March 2026. A spacious, nature-filled property with plenty of room for playing and exploring, barbecuing, and spending time together offers the ideal setting for families, couples, and friends. Much of the house has been updated, but you’ll also find well-preserved features from the past 50 years.
The house features 3 spacious bedrooms (2 double beds and 2 x 90x200cm beds). All bedrooms have roller shutters. A crib and a portable bed rail are available.
In the spacious kitchen and living area—which is well-equipped, features a sunroom, and offers a magnificent view of the countryside—you’ll find a large table that seats at least 8 people. A Stokke high chair is provided.
The large living room features a Smart TV.
The accessible bathroom includes a large shower, bathtub, and toilet. A hair dryer is provided.
There is a guest restroom.
All windows in the house have roller shutters and curtains. 



6-bed vacation home “Haus Eifelkind,” accommodates up to 8 people:

The Haus Eifelkind has three bedrooms: two with a double bed each and one with two single beds (90x200), which can easily be pushed together. One bedroom is equipped with a workspace, making remote work easy thanks to the available Wi-Fi. Due to its size, one bedroom can accommodate a cot or extra bed. All bedrooms can be completely darkened.
The spacious, fully equipped kitchen-dining area with a sunroom and a view of the countryside features a large dining table with 5 chairs, a bench, and a TrippTrapp high chair. 
The large living room features a Smart TV, and there is space to set up two additional beds here.
The accessible bathroom has a large shower, bathtub, and toilet. A hair dryer is also provided.
The Eifelkind house also has a separate guest restroom.





On-site costs: The booking price includes all additional costs, including towels and bed linens. We charge a surcharge for stays of two nights or more. Note regarding the guest tax: To promote regional tourism, overnight guests staying at lodging facilities in the Gerolstein Municipal Association have been required to pay a guest tax of 0.75 euros per person per night since 01.01.2024. Children aged 0–5, as well as business and educational travelers, are exempt from this tax. The guest tax is not included in the booking price; it is charged separately by the accommodation provider and forwarded to the Gerolstein Municipal Association.
