The garden is a sanctuary where you can observe the island’s wildlife up close. It’s not uncommon to be visited by both deer and hares while you enjoy breakfast on the terrace or the evening sun in the garden.
From the property, it’s just a short distance to Ballen’s vibrant harbor area, where you’ll find both the popular smokehouse and cozy restaurants. You can also explore the many natural gems such as Vesborg Lighthouse, Stavnsfjord, and Besser Reef, or embark on a culinary adventure at Ballebjerg with its many dining experiences. It’s also possible to rent bikes on the island, so you can easily get around.

I would recommend this place if significant improvements are made!
Bicycles in such poor condition they might as well not exist.
The listed distance to Ballen is downright misleading. It says about 800 m, but it’s actually 3 km—unless you fly!
Very sparse (dirty) kitchen utensils, including the grill.
Decorative pillows and blankets on various sofas and “hangout spots” smelled strongly and were dirty
The house was exciting and beautifully decorated, just like in the pictures, and Gro was very friendly
