The rural setting in the middle of the Black Forest was outstanding.
It was very quiet.
No reception staff so we couldn’t ring down and ask for anything like the WiFi code, or even a cup of coffee as there are no facilities in the room.

Nothing was particularly to my liking.
The location was 9km from the city centre. There was no public transport from the hotel to the city centre. Arranging Cab to and from hotel on a daily basis was frustrating and expensive. Breakfast was not included in the prize of the room. Toothpaste, brush and footwear were not available at the room. Hotel used to close at 9PM and entry into the hotel after 9PM was through a backdoor which was very inconvenient.
