The owner waited for our arrival until midnight.
Late checkin possible.
Nice small village in the mountains where the accommodation sits right in the center of it. 50m from a small grocery store that has all the basics and just next to a small coffee house where you can get a glass of wine, coffee or a pizza (the only meal they serve).
The accommodation itself is in a old classic house on the second floor. The owner lives downstairs. There is an access from the outside of the building to the second floor.
The AC works well.
The kitchen has all the basics (some coffee, sugar, salt, some seasonings, all the cookware and tableware)
The apartment itself is a vintage one, but in a way that does not bother you as everything is nice and clean.
Parking at the street is available most of the time. If not, there is a larger central parking place roughly 70 meters from the apartment.
The access road to the village is really steep and narrow from the beach direction and really long and curvy from the mountains. In the end I preferred the beach side access.
The central location of the apartment on the island is a strategic one, but at the same time - to get to the very north of the island means at minimum one and half hour drive. The roads are not great at Corfu in general. To get to the city of Corfu at the evening is 50 minutes drive.

Strávili jsme krásný týden na Korfu v malé vesnici jen 2 km od pláže. Bydleli jsme v 1. patře a měli jsme nádhernou krytou terasu s výhledem na hory a zapadající slunce. Dům má genius loci, je stylově vybaven, kuchyň má vše potřebné, největší plus je v horkém počasí velmi dobře fungující klimatizace v obývacím pokoji, ale oproti Chorvatsku je i ve vše třech ložnicích!! Pár kroků od ubytování je malý obchůdek, kde u paní Aleky nakoupíte základní potraviny i drogerii. Jen ovoce a zeleninu musíte koupit jinde. Ale otvírací doba je do 22 hodin!😀 V domě je dostatečné množství zásuvek na dobíjení našich mobilů atd. A abych nezapomněl, na stole v kuchyni byl uvítací balíček, víno, med, sušenky, v lednici dvě chlazená piva.😀 Paráda na úvod pobytu.
Menší kaňku na vysvědčení je problematická WiFi, kontaktovali jsme pronajímatelku, snažila se přes dodavatele zlepšit kvalitu signálu, ale nebylo to úplně k naší spokojenosti. Pokud se podaří vyřešit tento problém, nemá ubytování chybu.
