The host was very kind and welcoming. Very clean and spacious room with comfortable bed. Really appreciated the nice soaps and pyjamas. Location was very good! Takayama center was just a few minutes away by foot.

The location is very convenient, only 7 mins away from the station. The hostel itself is very cute! We got a 300ml Arabica French Press from the owner as our welcome drink (voucher was in the room), it was a surprisingly nice experience! 😊 Yuji-san, the owner was very friendly, he speaks amazing English and it seems that he has a lot of experience travelling around the world as well 😊😊😊 The hostel is small, but the amenities are top notch! Body wash and shampoo are from MUJI, the pajamas was so soft to the skin, everything was so clean 😊 We will definitely return here if we come to Takayama again. Thank you for your kind hospitality, Yuji-san! 🙏🏻🙏🏻😊😊😊
The staircase was a bit narrow and it will be difficult if you have a lot of luggage, but if you only have a cabin-size suitcase or a backpack, that should not be a problem 😊

Very new modern small hotel with very helpful manager
No blinds on widows (goes with general early to bed early to rise vibe in the town)
