Weekend Nightmare
The accomodation though no heating.
We paid for 2 nights, but were unable to access the property on our first night. We got a message around 10pm stating the office is closed. Which meant we were stranded outside with children. Bare in mind should you have any issues with this property, there is no customer service after 10pm. We called their number several times but no one answered. Then they claimed to have called in the morning at 4am. Which is still not acceptable especially when I spoke to them to inform them that I was going to arrive very late. I was told it was ok. The booking process after you pay was cumbersome. Having booked and paid on booking.com. I then had to fill up another online form, which was not clear and needed me to get In touch with them to fill it up. Even then, the form was not completed, I needed further directions. Even after the next part, there was another part that was not completed that required a deposit. At each point when I pressed submit the system accepted even though there were things that were not complete. The booking experience was not the same as booking a straight forward stay at a hotel even when you use booking.com. Be warned.
We eventually had to pay another hotel for our first night, I can't tell you how I feel about this.
Eventually we were given instructions to get in, by this time the weekend was spoiled.
We got into a cold flat. There was no where to turn the heating on. We contacted them. They put me on a video call to show me how to turn on the heating. They still could not locate how to turn on the heating. I also told them that the boiler was showing it needed service. They gave up and said someone was coming in to have a look. No one came in but the flat was so cold that we had to leave at 4:30 in the morning.
It was a weekend to forget.
