Perfect
It's a superb, warm, and very pretty place. The owner's generosity is exceptional, and his hospitality makes you feel right at home. I haven't found a better hostel in Malaysia, it was truly pleasant, and I will definitely come back

Overall, a lovely stay with a welcoming owner, great breakfast and excellent coffee.
Great stay! The owner is lovely, and breakfast is included in the price. He made me a toasted sandwich every morning, which was incredible, along with my choice of tea or coffee. The coffee was some of the best I’ve had in Malaysia — simple, not too sweet, and just like coffee back home in the UK!
The Tipsy Bridge next door serves excellent drinks and has live music every night. The singers are amazing, and the atmosphere is great. However, the music goes on until 2am every night, so it can be very noisy when trying to sleep. If you’re a light sleeper, this might not be the best place to stay.
I stayed in the private room, which is up two flights of very steep stairs. The room has a private bathroom, although it’s a very small wet room. There’s a window that stays open with no way to close it, so I ended up getting bitten by quite a few mosquitoes. There’s also no blind or curtain on the bathroom window, although I don’t think anyone could see in.
The bedroom has high windows that let in some light but don’t offer a view outside. The curtains keep the room quite dark, which is nice for sleeping. The double bed was comfortable, with a blanket and very comfy pillows, and the room also has air conditioning and a fan.
One thing to note is that there’s no dedicated common room for the hostel; the restaurant downstairs is the main communal space. If you’re travelling solo and hoping to meet other travellers, this might make it a little harder to socialise, especially if you’re staying in a private room.
Overall, a lovely stay with a welcoming owner, great breakfast and excellent coffee. Just be aware of the noise at night, steep stairs, mosquitoes and limited communal space if you’re considering staying here!

Most amazing host in Malacca (maybe Malaysia!)
The host and his team were super nice, preparing different breakfast each morning, very good vibe I loved that place ❤️ the street and the Andalusia restaurant add a lovely atmosphere and music! I extended my stay on the 1st day
Maybe the bathroom needs some polish, and there is no shampoo, also the street becomes noisy at night, make sure to come prepared.
