We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the facilities were lovely, and the reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. The location was fabulous, with everything so easy to get to. We’d happily stay again!
The only two small things to mention were the noise and the stairs. The Tudor bar across the way, so it was a little noisy from around 10pm until midnight, but it was quiet after that and didn’t cause us any major issues.
There’s also no lift, and there were quite a few steps up to Apartment 2. We were travelling with a young child, so we found it easiest to leave the buggy in the car. Neither of these things would put us off staying again.

The Yard comprises a set of apartments housed across restored townhouses in Dungarvan, operated by the Hatmaker Boutique Hotel. The apartment was very nicely furnished with good quality furniture and comfortable beds. Overall, our duplex apartment was bright, warm and comfortable. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and even lent me an umbrella when we checked in during a downpour and dropped off extra bedding.
This apartment was not really set up for self catering - despite the furniture being very high quality the equipment in the kitchen seemed to be from the pound shop. Both frying pans had already lost their handles and a pot lost its handle while I was trying to drain pasta. A shame, as they were so well appointed otherwise

Its location in centre of town.
It’s cleanliness and decor.
It’s amenities-it had everything we needed.
So quiet even though it’s in the centre of town.
The friendliness of the guy in the hotel reception who checked us in & out
