Misleading “Luxury” dirty bedding and zero service
The apartment has a new renovation and looks nice and relatively clean. That’s where the positives end. Everything else was a complete failure.
Upon arrival we were given the wrong door code. The host ignored our calls we called about 5 times and texted. We stood outside with our luggage for 40 minutes until a neighbour let us in. The host only bothered to reply an hour later and sent another code.
We had to search for the cutlery ourselves the host again replied only after an hour, saying it was “hidden in a secret cabinet.” There was no dishwashing liquid or shower gel at all. The host suggested using liquid soap to wash the dishes. There was no tea and salt. The electric kettle was also dirty.
The bed linen was dirty, smelly, and stained with blood. It had a foul, rotten smell. There were no sheets on the beds just some protective cloth the material like you use to wash floor. There were no mattresses we slept on hard bases. The beds were terribly uncomfortable everyone’s sides and backs hurt. The pillows were awful empty, the blankets as thin as throws. The linen was the cheapest quality from JYSK "Basic". We had to buy our own sheets, towels, and toiletries. The host replied to our complaint after 2 hours and said it was already “not working hours.”
Booking description “private parking” a lie. It’s just a regular public courtyard. In the evening it was hard to find a spot, and we were nervous leaving an expensive car on the street. In the evening the light in the entrance didn’t work, there’s no elevator, and the apartment is on the 3rd floor we had to climb in complete darkness using our phone flashlights.
Zero service. The host doesn’t answer, doesn’t help, ignores everything. The name “Luxury apartment” is pure deception. This is not luxury it’s low-quality accommodation with a complete lack of basic service. We are disappointed and will complain to Booking demanding that the misleading description be removed.
