Good size bed, very comfy mattress
Kitchen has everything you need except a dishwasher
Even a few bottles of water in the fridge (tap water)
Good pressure of water, everything you need in the bathroom, perfect for one person shower, good extractor fan
Relatively quiet, close to a few metro stations and buses
TV with netflix etc (no cable)
Very responsive staff on whatsapp
There is like a canal smell when you walk in the building and flat (possibly water leaks in the building as the ceiling is stained), but thankfully you can open the very large windows and it goes away.
The bathroom door is a sliding satin glass door, but it never shuts completely so not much privacy at all if you’re traveling with someone else, and it is exactly in front of the kitchen table so… a bit awkward
It is ground floor level so you hear the rubbish collection vehicles early AM, also people speaking loudly on the corridor/street sometimes, which can disrupt your sleep
Bit awkward to find as there are no clear markings but you eventually manage to find it!

Great location, close to the metro.
Friendly owner and a nice, clean room.
Overall, everything was great and almost perfect.
There were a couple of minor issues: there was no hot water when we arrived, although it was fixed later. It would have been helpful to be informed about this in advance.
The kitchen was also missing basic essentials such as salt, olive oil, and similar items. However, I'm pretty sure the owner will take care of this in the future.
P.S. We later discovered that these items can easily be purchased as a small pack in small quantities at Carrefour.
