It could be a really great unit, but it isn't.

The unit was roomy and well set out. The decor was quite nice. It had great ocean views from the balcony, living area and front bedroom. Close to restaurants.

* The air-conditioners in the living area, and both bedrooms did not work. * When we turned the air-conditioner on in the back bedroom it leaks water onto the floor. * There was a temporary air cooler in the window of the dining area, but it got an error code "FE" on the day we arrived and stopped working. It then leaked water all over the dining area tiles. * The exhaust fans in both bathrooms were not working. * The wall phone was broken and could not be hung up. * The smaller screen door onto the balcony fell off its tracks if you tried to close it. * Neither the large screen door or the large glass door to the balcony would lock. * The metal door latch surround on the front door fell off when we opened the door. It was held on by only one screw. * The floor was filthy when we arrived, even though a $154 cleaning fee is built into the price for the unit when booked. * Had to mop the whole unit using some of the hand wash in a bucket of water, as the soles of our feet were black after walking on the tiles for only half an hour.

Horrific - mould EVERYWHERE, very run down +++

Leaving early.

Mould - EVERYWHERE. Behind curtains, under bedside table, walls, ceilings, doors, skirting, architraves, behind aircon remotes on wall. It is clear that this place was left unattended for a long time and on return mould took over. They have cleared the mould where visble from eyes however, it is everywhere. This property is unkept and a MASSIVE health hazard. The sliding door to balcony was also unable to be locked - violating many building codes/tenancy laws. The front door was rotted with extreme mould, the strike plate for this door was holding on by a thread. Very unsecure. There were multiple issues with this property. When contacting the holiday rental they did attempt to find me another property within their portfolio however, issued a refund minus cleaning fee instead. They did state they 'thought the sliding door issue was resovled from previous complaint'. They had not checked on this. When stated that the air cons in the pic did not work and there was a portable one instead, they reiterated that the booking price reflected these issues. I really don't see why/how that can be justified. This property is completely neglected by the owners and needs to be removed from a holiday rental portfoilio. The owners need to do a major overhaul to get this up to scratch.

Cheap and nasty.

Front door had to kick it open and slam it shut as door was swollen in the door jam. Steel door jam was rusted pretty bad. None of the AC’s worked and had a cooler added through the window and the only heat was through a little portable heater. All the beds had seen better days.
