The house is very large and cozy, full of natural light, and easy to air out, with nice Hokusai painting touches. The tatami bedrooms were equipped with beds, not only futons and were very comfortable!
Besides 3 bedrooms and the toilet / washroom / bath, there is a large open space with kitchen and living room, all very well equipped and with English labels for all appliances, shelves, remote controls or light switches (this was a really nice, thoughtful touch that we appreciated a lot). We liked the western style dining table and the projector.
The hosts also provided kitchen essentials (sauces, oils etc) and great coffee for us, and even a fresh miso container!
There are two parking spaces near the house and it is located in a quiet, nice neighborhood.
The hosts were attentive and quick to respond to our messages and needs.
We booked this house for hiking the mountains close by and would recommend this place to anyone looking for that, as it has proved the best stay in Japan and the town was full of lovely surprises for small restaurants as well!

Superb condition, with top standard facilities. Beds were very comfortable, and overall super relaxining.
We came by train, and it is a bit far from the station. But would be perfect if you have a car.
