For us this was really ALL about location. We have been coming to Oak Island for 20 years. We have stayed in all kinds of houses and condos. We have never been in walking distance to the beach. My grandchildren thought it was the greatest thing to walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes. The bathrooms had no mold (my enemy). The pool was perfect for the grandchildren and they were in it a couple of times a day.It is a little on the small side but if you are there to enjoy the beach and wanting a clean place to stay, this is it. I truly enjoyed sitting on the front deck and could see the ocean over the houses.The only thing I could suggest is more pits and pans in the kitchen especially a pizza pan or two.
