About this house rental
Welcome to Großbodungen. An extraordinary vacation home with history, character, and charm. Some houses are more than just four walls. They tell stories.
Our over 300-year-old half-timbered house in Großbodungen is just such a place—with historic beams, creaking floorboards, and an atmosphere that can’t be replicated.
Here, authentic charm meets the comfort you desire on vacation. The house has been carefully renovated without losing its unique character. Each room tells a story of times gone by while also offering a cozy retreat where you can settle in, relax, and feel at home.
Großbodungen is located in the idyllic Eichsfeld—one of the most beautiful and unspoiled regions in central Germany. Gentle hills, vast forests, historic half-timbered towns, and numerous hiking and biking trails make the surrounding area an ideal destination for nature lovers, those seeking peace and quiet, and families.
Whether you’re enjoying the view of the countryside with a cup of coffee in the morning, explore the Harz Mountains, the Eichsfeld, or the numerous local attractions during the day, or wind down the evening in the cozy atmosphere of the house—here you’ll find the perfect place to escape the daily grind.
Our vacation home is deliberately not a sterile, newly built property. It thrives on its history, its little quirks, and its unmistakable character. Anyone who appreciates the charm of historic homes will quickly feel at home here.
We look forward to welcoming you to Großbodungen and wish you a relaxing and unforgettable stay.
