About this house rental
Enjoy a relaxing stay in our cozy vacation home near a swimming lake. The house is situated on a sunny, 2,600-square-meter lot and offers the perfect combination of peace and nature. What makes it special is that there are no immediate neighbors.
Nevertheless, you have
LTE/5G reception both in the house and throughout the surrounding area, so you can use your cell phone as a hotspot to, for example, stream movies on your laptop, use hiking apps, etc.
The swimming lake is just an 8-minute walk away.
Virserum is a 15-minute drive away.
Virserum is a town with three grocery stores, a bank, a post office, a pizzeria, a newsstand, a doctor’s office, a hair salon, a clothing store, and much more.
In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find numerous hiking trails, lakes, rivers, stalactite caves, the Astrid Lindgren Theme Park, mountain bike trails rated green, blue, red, and black, and much more.
The vacation home features two cozy bedrooms with a total of four sleeping spots (one large double bed, one single bed, and a futon in the loft). It’s ideal for couples, small groups, or families. The modern shower room offers pleasant comfort, while the open-concept kitchen-living area invites you to cook together and relax.
A special highlight is the large, covered wooden deck with comfortable patio furniture—the perfect place to enjoy relaxing hours outdoors, regardless of the weather. In addition, a handy shed is available for storing items such as bicycles or luggage.
A washing machine is located right next door and can be used as needed.
Final cleaning can be arranged for a fee of 40€.
At the end of your vacation, you’ll need to pay for the electricity you’ve used.
You’re welcome to bring your own bed linens and towels, or we can provide them for €15 per person.
Unfortunately, we received a negative review from a woman who booked a last-minute two-day stay, which meant we were unable to clean the place properly. All other guests were very satisfied.

This house is a very spacious country summer house. We rented both cottages for our 2 families. The 8 of us and were very pleased to all have our own beds. Both houses have their own kitchens and bathrooms. The kitchens have everything you need. The property outside is very well kept and offers lots of space. The lake is just a short walk from the house where you can fish right from the shore or dock. You can even use a row boat to go out on the lake. It made for a very peaceful and relaxing vacation. The drive to the grocery store or restaurant is just 15 minutes away. If your looking for a place that isn’t loud and right in the middle of town yet still close to town this is the place for you.
