We found the hot water extremely hot and difficult to stand under shower. We were there for 5 days and not enough products for that length of stay . Black tea would have been a bonus rather than green tea.

There was no hand soap, and only 2 toilet paper rolls for 4 nights, 2 people. The check-in process was complicated and they claimed that they had sent me an email, but I recieved nothing. I needed to get my sister to call them for me because she is UK-based. This was before I knew they used Whatsapp. As a deaf person, it is unacceptable that text communication was hard and slow. I got a message per day, which meant that we did not have hand soap or schampo for 2 entire days (should be included). On the third day, they finally delivered the "goodie bag". We had already slept there 2 nights. Meanwhile, a neighbour in the house was kind to borrow his hand soap to us. The check out process was apparently emailed to my sister, not me even though I am the customer. As a result, we already left the place and did not know that we needed to bring the trash out before checking out, because my sister assumed that I also would have gotten the email. Location is okay, the apartment is clean (but it was awful under the bed, when I looked for a thing that fell from the bed, please clean under the bed too!). They should throw the mat out too. Customer service is very poor. Me and my partner agreed to that the apartment gets 7-8 out of ten, meanwhile customer service is at 2 out of ten. Customer service is important when it is needed. It's also very good that customer service is not needed. So, given our experiences, we are not returning or recommending it.

The room and bathroom were very good, clean and Well equipped, bathroom was nice with a rain shower. The room was comfortable .We received communication, but did not know what room we were in, which was frustrating. Also our room was still be being cleaned after 4pm. When we booked out checkout was 11am, all the communication from open door was 10am, which is very early. The patio garden hadn’t been cleaned, there were still cigarette butts littered over the patio. The location is very good. We managed to get a free parking space outside.

Don't expect toilet paper unless you're willing to pay a massive upcharge! New boutique hotel in mint condition and great location in Maida Vale. Staff (all off-site) was wonderful during booking process online. We were initially told there was AC in the room we booked but then management realized there wasn't so they upgraded us to a room with AC at no extra charge. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen had too many unusable amenities in lieu of just useful space. How anyone could cook anything in such a tiny space when there is nowhere to prep or eat is beyond us. The designer missed the mark there - as well as in the bathroom that has no space to put anything or hang towels. They chose to offer a pretty space vs a functional one. Great spot but when we asked for more toilet paper we were told we'd be charged 30pound fee for it! (Upcharges for change of towels, room clean and yes, apparently toilet paper too.) LOL! They may be biting their nose to spite their face with such ridiculous "options". We booked for a good price before they garnered reviews to build the new venture. We get that. But one small roll of toilet paper for a 2 night stay for 2 people? Give me a break, guys! Save the pots and pans and just give people what they actually need for a comfortable stay. Good luck!
