Unfortunately, my stay at Chilpancingo by Wynwood House was very disappointing. **The biggest issue was the construction. I have NEVER experienced construction noise this loud during a stay. It was extremely disruptive** and made it practically impossible to sleep later in the morning or comfortably stay in the apartment during the day. Forget about enjoying the balcony—the noise made that impossible. I have multiple videos documenting it. Had I known about this construction, I would never have booked. I had to be moved to another room. Unfortunately, the AC in that room did not work, and I spent an extremely uncomfortable night sweating. The next day, I had to pack everything AGAIN and move rooms for a SECOND time. Having to relocate twice during one stay—first because of unbearable construction and then because of broken AC—was exhausting. Too much of my vacation was spent packing, moving and dealing with problems instead of enjoying Mexico City. Communication and check-in were frustrating. The check-in link did not work, and messages sent about 24 hours before arrival went unanswered. Once inside, the sheets and pillows smelled noticeably of men’s cologne and sweat, making me seriously question whether the bedding had been changed. The advertised safe was also missing. The location is great, but there is major construction happening directly next door, and based on the scale of the project, it appears it could continue for at least ONE or TWO MORE YEARS!
