Security Concerns and an Overpriced Stay

Never again

I had one of the worst experiences with the company managing this accommodation. Shortly before our stay, I received a message containing extremely detailed and accurate information about my booking, asking me to confirm several details and reconfirm my credit card through a link. Fortunately, I did not click the link and instead contacted the property directly. They confirmed that it was a scam and told me that a number of their guests had apparently been targeted in the same way. What was particularly disappointing was that there was no apology or meaningful response regarding the apparent compromise of guest data. A few days later, I received an email asking me to complete their check-in procedure. The instructions included unusual conditions, such as an additional $20 charge if dishes were left in the dishwasher. Since this sounded so unusual and frankly unlike something a professional hospitality company would send to its guests, I contacted the property again. Once again, I was told that the email was not from them. I later discovered that it actually was their official check-in procedure and their own email. So, from my perspective, there are two serious issues here: significant concerns about the security of guest information, and staff who apparently do not recognize or understand their own official check-in procedures. The accommodation itself is okay. However, it is located close to a main road, so there is considerable traffic noise, and the view is nothing particularly special. Unfortunately, the accommodation itself became almost secondary because the entire booking and check-in process left us feeling extremely uncomfortable. We genuinely wished we had never booked this place. Overall: an awful experience, and certainly not a company I would feel comfortable booking with again.

Estaba muy limpio, todo parecía nuevo, se sentía hogareño y tenía muchos detalles como dando la impresión de que era una casa cuidada.
