Unique location, nice waking up to the view on the hill. The property is super clean and new and we had a wonderful stay there. We are entomologists and recorded bees, moths and bats seen on property during our stay. Our recommendation to the owners would be to plant more lavender on the slope and increase the amount of plants by putting perovskia, cephalaria leucantha, scabiosa colimbaria and some wild parsnip on it. Your small garden will become a small oasis of wildlife and a refuge for native bees. Put up an insect hotel and your gold. We also got visited by the local host dog and the most beautiful cat. They showed us around and made us feel even more at home. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
Scary drive ip the hill the first time we arrived. If you drive an automatic car go into manual and first gear if possible. Host warned us in advance with detailed description so no blame there!! Its just we are not used to it coming from a country thats flat…
