The surrounding areas

Well I will start by saying booked very last minute due to family emergency but it does not excuse the price for 2 nights including a damage waiver u have to pay after u have already paid for the property and without paying this damage waiver you can't get access to the property so we paid alot for 2 nights. This place should not have anyone staying here the damp hit the back of your throat as soon as you entered so obviously I went searching for the problem and found so many things wrong and just completely disgusting I took photos very quickly as I refuse to take any blame for the damage that is already here. On looking around I found the bottom bedroom floor soaked (which is mentioned in a review in June) the 1st bathroom moulding, hand rails on stairs coming off, broken picture on the floor, dried blood on the floor and rug, and what looked like a blood fingerprint on the second floor bedroom wall, a really dirty sock in the cupboard in a bedroom, lights with many many bugs moving bugs (I took a video),lots of cobwebs around the whole place, hair and dirt in the 2nd bathroom in the bath. If it wasn't for my family emergency we would have left straight away. My daughter that came has asthma so she has had to spend most her time on the top floor as the damp effects her. We got a pizza from Tesco for dinner to cook at the property but come to find the oven didn't work no matter what we did the screen just said stop and the oven did nothing even tested the top hobs and it didn't work. The beds are really uncomfortable like lying on bricks. I will be fighting to get a refund for this place as it was way overpriced for such a disgusting property we can not wait to leave 😡

We liked the layout and the ease of check in and check out, lovely location on the canal and was fairly tucked away.

Wish the TV had an aerial and free view tv, also the downstairs bedroom carpet was slightly wet which would need looking at.

We liked the layout and the ease of check in and check out, lovely location on the canal and was fairly tucked away.
