Fantastic location and stylish apartment!

Fantastically central location, lovely spacious and stylish apartment with plenty of storage. Breakfast on the balcony was a great start to the day. Good communication from owner.

Pillows were a little lumpy and the thin curtains didn’t help a good night’s sleep. Some guest information about the apartment and Konstanz would have been helpful.

pretentieus ingericht appartement dat in gebruik teleur stelt.

De kamer was ruim en het bed was prima. Het keukenblok was in orde en er was een kleine oven en een mini vaatwasser, die wij niet gebruikt hebben. De ligging op vijf minuten lopen van het station en midden in het oude centrum van Konstanz is erg handig als je met de trein komt.

de badkamer was erg klein: een douchecabine, de wc ernaast en een kleine wasbak, nauwelijks 1,5 vierkante meter groot. Voor een totaal van 52 m2 was dat teleurstellend. Er waren maar twee kleine handdoekjes voor een hele week, dat was meer dan teleurstellend. De extra kamer voor een kind, dat wij niet hebben, was klein, donker en de lucht was er slecht doordat het raam uitkwam op een luchtkoker waar allerlei machines stonden o.a. van de ijsverkoper op de begane grond. De keuken was heel Spartaans wat betreft kookgerei, en één theedoekje. Toen ik de host vroeg om een extra klein pannetje om een ei te koken kreeg ik als antwoord dat de keuken niet was ingericht op 'een kookorgie'. Het klopt: er was een ketel, een bakpan en een oven. Duidelijk was de intentie: dit is een appartement voor mensen die uit gaan eten en misschien een klein ontbijt zelf bereiden. Belangrijke informatie: het appartement is gelegen in een winkelstraat met veel drukte, je kunt het balkon, dat overigens heel fraai is, niet gebruiken als de winkels open zijn. De gordijnen zijn wit en flinterdun en door alle reclameverlichting wordt het ook 's nachts niet donker met de gordijnen dicht. Het ziet er wel stijlvol uit, maar is in gebruik niet praktisch. Er ligt een hoogpolig, harig tapijt, ook weer mooi om te zien, maar dit moet je nooit doen in een verhuurruimte. Dat geldt ook voor de schapenvachten op de plastic kuipstoelen aan de eettafel met stenen blad (goed voor in de tuin misschien). Oh ja: er stond een fraaie tv alleen ontbrak de antenne aansluiting dus die deed helemaal niks. Als je cd's meeneemt kun je wel de cd-speler gebruiken. Geen idee of die het deed want die dingen heb ik al in geen eeuwen meer, jij wel? De bank was een kek designmeubel, geschikt door je bagage, niet om lekker op te gaan zitten met een glaasje. De verlichting had een onnavolgbaar systeem van gekoppelde groepen zonder logica: je kon de bedlampjes alleen gebruiken als het grote licht aan was.
