Responsive customer service, but no hot water and several unresolved issues
The customer service team was very responsive and replied promptly whenever we raised an issue. I appreciated their communication and recognise that, if they are a separate management company, some of the property’s problems may be outside their direct control.
Unfortunately, several issues significantly affected our three-night stay.
There was no usable Wi-Fi, despite a network being visible with the apartment’s details in its name. None of the televisions were connected to the internet, so we were unable to use them.
The notice about the internet issue was added to the property listing only after I booked, and previous guests had reported the same problem. When I raised this, I was initially told that the information was on the listing. After explaining that it had not been there when I booked, I was told that Wi-Fi had not been listed as an amenity and therefore should not have been expected. This response was disappointing.
We also had no hot water throughout our stay. A previous reviewer had reported the same issue, although it had apparently been resolved for them. I spent the first morning waiting for a technician, who then spent approximately an hour attempting to fix it without success. We were told another technician would be needed. At that point, we declined further visits because we did not want to spend more of our holiday waiting or have people coming and going while our belongings were inside.
When a member of our group arrived in the middle of the night following his flight, I went downstairs to let him in and found the security guard asleep in their chair. This raised concerns about security.
The master bedroom had only one power outlet, located behind the bed. As a result, the fan had to sit on the bedside table to reach it. Providing an extension cord would be a simple improvement, particularly as the rooms also had heaters and that could be a fire hazard.
Although the customer service team was responsive, the number of unresolved issues means I would not recommend staying here.
