Had an array of interesting animals to look at including ostrich, emu, deer, elk, camels, chickens, ducks, pigs, sheep and alpaca. My favourites were the guard turkey who kept fluffy up his feathers, and the white peacocks. Also plenty of native birds flying around. We visited just after lots of rain so heard at least six species of frog calling. Very conveniently located between Chiltern and Beechworth, with several spots to visit and bushwalking to do. The best site for spring wildflowers was the Cyanide Dam walk at Honeyeaters Picnic area, while the Woolshed Falls were also lovely. Mainly went out for lunch and dinner in Beechworth, with the lolly shop and bakery well worth a visit.
It was fairly basic accommodation and the bathroom was very small, but all we needed on our road trip. The good far outweighed any bad and well worth supporting for the rescue animals they are looking after.

We had a great stay here. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating.
The kids loved seeing all of the animals.
Accomodation had everything we needed for a short stay and was nice and warm despite the winter weather. Electric blankets on the bed were a bonus.
Loved having the open fire in the barn.
The location was also perfect for exploring the surrounding area including Rutherglen and Beechworth.
It's not a fancy pants boutique farmstay but perfect for a little family who dont mind getting a little muddy!

The location was great, the fact they were pet friendly was AMAZING! We met with the owner and she walked us around all the animals which the kids absolutely loved-what an incredible range of animals to see!! In the morning the kids even could feed the bunnies and for try em it was a highlight of their whole trip.
We loved our stay. If I had to pick something it would be to be realistic and say the cabins are a little bit dated but the new owners are updating everything. The cabins are very clean, have everything you need including a full kitchen, utensils, warm and cosy, lovely shower. New bed linen, new plates and kitchen equipment, cute prints on the wall, heating is warm as toast and to have two seperate rooms was amazing. We loved our stay!
