The location was excellent for us as we were visiting Legoland and Windsor Park. The driveway has extensive and secure parking, which again was key for us as a group of 14 people. We also loved the quiet and peaceful area and, had the weather been conducive to sitting out, the large garden was ideal for this. The bedrooms were large and all had en-suites, which gave everyone in the group space and privacy. It was also good to have areas for adults and children to hang out together. The children particularly enjoyed the games area. The kitchen was large and well equipped for preparing all the meals that we made, although the shorter people in the group did struggle to reach some of the cupboards as they were quite high! Communication with Priya before and during our stay was exemplary.

The house, whilst spacious, was also lacking a bit of comfort and the additional touches that make it feel more homely. We have never seen so many spotlights in a room before, and so it was very bright. The absence of dimmer switches meant there was no real way to dial it back, so a few more lamps about the place would have helped. There were basics provided like washing up liquid, soaps, shampoo and conditioners which are always greatly appreciated, but a few cleaning supplies and some more kitchen roll for example would have been welcomed - it felt basic and stripped back to the minimum, rather than more generous and welcoming as you can get with stays at this level.

We liked the location, quiet but convenient for seeing Windsor, Legoland, Thorpe Park and Hampton Court Palace. We were a large group and it was great to have so much space to relax in. The bedrooms were large with en-suites, lovely to have the privacy as well. Great communication with the hosts.

There were a few small problems for example the ice maker not working (but plenty of ice is the fridge). I fed back to the hosts and they were apologetic, responsive and said they would resolve those problems. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We stayed at the accommodation as a family of 5 and grandparents. The communication from the owner before we arrived was brilliant. They answered any questions we had promptly. Check-in was easy, and everything was explained before we arrived. The house is absolutely beautiful and huge. The welcome pack was such a lovely touch with crisps, nuts, biscuits, and prosecco. Before arriving, we was told we could use any of the amenities in the kitchen. There was coffee tea sugar. Hot chocolate. There was fresh bottles of water cans of coke fruit shoots. They really had thought about everything. Jam butter and milk. All the beds were made up with fresh crisp white bedding, with lovely fluffy white towels. Shower gel shampoo and conditioner was also provoded. The games area was a massive hit with my teenagers. There was a full size ping pong table. Football table and Xbox. There waa also board game to play. I would definitely stay here again. It was £8 in an uber to windsor castle which we thought would be much easier than trying to park. And it was. There is a pub 10-minute walk from the house we didn't try but looked lovely And also a littlw convenience shop. I would 100% stay here again if we was to return to Windsor.
