Serene Coastal We were disappointed with the whole check-in process. An email arrived 24 hours before advising that a code for key collection would be sent for ease of access. We arrived after our check-in time of 3pm, we had not received a code at this time, we went to get the key from the grocery store as per instructions however as we had not received the code they refused to give us the keys. We back to the reception area to ask if they could provide us with the code, we were informed that the apartment we were staying in was not managed by them, the receptionist was exceptionally helpful and suggested that perhaps we had gone to the wrong grocery store, she gave us direction to another shop a few k’ms away - nope not correct either. We tried the phone contact number and no response - 4 calls later… We popped back to reception and once again the receptionist was helpful, she even rang the number on our booking, no response again. Feeling a tad frustrated we went back to the first grocery store to see if they could once again assist us in getting the key, the young lady was helpful but again said no to getting the keys without the code. While chatting we received a text with said code, we finally managed to get in 1 hour later. An apology was sent along the lines of I “lost my luggage in transit” this is not an acceptable excuse… Another comment in a previous review mentioned other issues with check-in as well. The apartment was clean and tidy, however there was so many reed diffuser’s in there that the smell was overwhelming - a full sized ironing board would be more practical than the very small table top one. There was also a cockroach in the water of the coffee machine… The noise from the construction in apartments 1703 & 1704 during the day was constant we were not given any notification that this would be happening during our stay. A constant smell of cigarette smoke drifted through the central air, it was very unpleasant to non-smokers!

It was so close to Pacific Fair, Tram, beach, cafes and Broadbeach town centre. Getting the keys was a breeze and finding the accommodation was easy. The owner was so responsive to all messages and requests. I would definitely stay here again.

Easy to pick up the keys, location was just next to accommodation.

Instructions emailed could have come out sooner to plan for the arrival. There could have been clearer instructions on parking as it was complex.
