Ca Nicò is a detached Ligurian house in the small village of Costa Carnara, a hillside hamlet of Dolcedo, nestled among the olive groves of the Val Prino and offering panoramic views of the hills and the sea of the Riviera dei Fiori. The house spans several floors and accommodates up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms (one with a traditional double bed, one with a double bed and a charming exposed brick vaulted ceiling, and one with bunk beds), plus a sofa bed in the living room. There are 2 bathrooms with showers.
The living room is the heart of the home: spacious, bright, with a characteristic, restored original brick vaulted ceiling, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a dining area, and a sofa bed. The home is equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning in every room, a washing machine, and all the amenities needed for both long and short stays.
Upstairs, a covered terrace with panoramic arches overlooks the village, the olive-covered hills of Val Prino, and the sea in the distance. With a dining table and barbecue, it’s perfect for dining with a view of the sunset and can be used even in inclement weather thanks to the roof. Rounding out the property is a private garden with a relaxation area in the shade of olive trees.
What you’ll love about the area: Dolcedo is a medieval village just 5 minutes away, famous for its stone bridges, Taggiasco extra virgin olive oil, and historic olive mills. The beaches of the Riviera (Imperia, Diano Marina, San Bartolomeo) are a 15–20-minute drive away, Sanremo is 30 minutes away, and the French border and Menton are 45 minutes away. Val Prino is ideal for hiking, mountain biking, and exploring the authentic inland Liguria—away from the crowds but just a stone’s throw from the sea.
