Aspen Oasis is a ground-floor 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo in the Aspen Lodge at Trappeur's Crossing Resort. It has its own entrance through a courtyard with a private hot tub and fire pit. It sleeps 7 and has air conditioning, a fireplace and one reserved spot in the heated garage. Guests can also use the resort's shared pools, hot tubs, sauna, fitness center, and tennis and pickleball courts. The free resort shuttle runs to the ski base all winter.
The Space:
Single-level, ground-floor condo with no stairs. It opens onto a private courtyard with its own hot tub and fire pit. Inside: living room with a fireplace and sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area.
Bedrooms (sleeps 7):
– Primary bedroom: King bed
– Second bedroom: Queen bed and bunk bed
– Living room: Sofa bed
Also: two full bathrooms, air conditioning, washer and dryer, a foosball table and game console, a ski locker in the garage, and toys and books for kids.
Guest Access:
You'll have the whole condo to yourselves, with a private entrance through the garage and the courtyard gate. Before you arrive, we'll send instructions for picking up your fobs at the Trappeur's front entryway. Your fobs open the building, the heated underground garage and the resort's shared amenities: indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, a sauna, a fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts, and BBQ areas. You have one reserved spot in the Aspen Lodge heated underground garage, labeled 4110 Aspen. Please park only in that spot, with your parking pass on the dashboard. There's no street parking.
The Neighborhood:
Trappeur's Crossing is a full-service resort on the mountain side of Steamboat, about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the gondola and Steamboat Resort's base area, with its restaurants, shops and events. In summer, the resort is close to hiking and mountain biking trails, and downtown Steamboat's restaurants, shops and the Yampa River are about 10 minutes away by car or shuttle. During peak season the resort hosts a weekly wine-and-cheese party and après-ski hot cocoa, and the poolside patio has BBQ grills and a fire pit.
Getting Around:
The free resort shuttle runs a loop to the ski base all winter and can be called for rides downtown and to the grocery store. Book pick-ups in the "RG Shuttle" app. The gondola is about a 10 to 15 minute walk. If you're driving, park only in your reserved spot in the Aspen Lodge garage, labeled 4110 Aspen, and put your parking pass on the dashboard.
Other Things to Note:
Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.
The maximum is 7 guests. There's a 3-night minimum stay, except during mud season.
Trappeur's Crossing is a resort with full-time residents, so please respect quiet hours (9 PM to 9 AM).
Please leave all fobs on the kitchen table when you check out; lost fobs are $25 each to replace.
