This place was better than we ever expected. The host was amazing. The location was great. The house was clean and had everything we needed for sleeping, cooking, bathing, etc. I cannot recommend this place enough.Other reviewers talked about the difficulty of parking, and it certainly isn't the easiest thing ever. However, everything we needed to know was clearly explained by the host. We never suffered much finding a place to park in the end.The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for cleanliness was the shared back porch. The people staying in the downstairs part of the house had a dog, and they let the dog use the back porch, which is completely concrete, to go to the bathroom. We found both puddles and piles back there during our stay. When the host was notified, she asked the dog owner to clean up, and there were no more problems. I imagine this was an issue with whoever was staying down there and NOT a normal issue with the property. We were very impressed with the responsiveness of the host to the issue.

Excellent vrbo while visiting NY. The pictures do not do it justice. It was so comfortale and equipped for anything.The back yard patio area is perfect for evenings. The neighborhood was quiet. Clean. Beautful park across the road.. The host is very attentive. Great beds! We wete there for a graduation in NY. Being able to get out of the hussle and bussel of NY after a long day in the city. And sit outside and relax ?? Wow. My daughter actually turned on her bird song identification app. Because they were singing!!i will recommend and totally return if I'm back that way.

The rooms were nice definitely more open concept then i thought( the living room and the 3 beds bedroom are one big area with a curtain seperting) location was nice and easy to find the busses. Wonderful view only 3 minutes away! Parking was a nightmare (we arrived late so everyone was already home. The next morning we moved them closer when we could and we just left them till we went home.
we spent the day in NY on Saturday and when we arrived back that night we found someone had locked the main entrance and we couldnt get in thankfully we figured it out and had left the side door unlocked. None of the keys we could find even went to the main door entrance so they did it from the inside. There's an upstairs so it could have been another guest. After a long day with 5 kids in the city i just felt that the main door should be a code like the others to avoid an instance like that.
The beds were comfy and probably the cleanest part. we washed the dishes before using them they just looked really dingy. The ice maker was gross looks like coffee splashed up in it or something. The bathroom shower and sink were dirty. The floors were turning my kids feet black to where they put their socks back on in disgust. the rug at the entrance is so GROSS. The fridge still had someones stuff in it and could have used at the very least a good wipe down.. if someone would spend time to actually clean i wouldnt have any negatives about it And Simply removing previous guest stuff wouldnt hurt
