Caravan Experience

The location and staff are nice and good.

The water supply almost non existent due to the pressure too low. The overall caravan area not enough lighting and hope the Management look into this matter seriously for future customers.

4 / 10

Worked adequately for us, given that it was just a boy's trip, but overall disappointing.

The shower facilities were good. The location was handy so long as you had a car. There was a good heater in the caravan.

I think that the place has just changed ownership, so take all this in the context that they are just getting it up and running. The cleaning was poor. I'm not sure that they cleaned the shower block regularly. I'm sure that the leaves were building up rather than being cleaned away. The sheets provided with the beds were very small - no way to tuck them in. Perhaps some sort of disposable thing? The kitchen block wasn't well provisioned. We asked for some plates and cutlery for the caravan and they did supply some. There were some small plastic shelters next to the caravans (almost big enough to park a car in) with feet that were screwed into some pavers to weigh them down. The pavers wouldn't be heavy enough to hold them down and at least one blew over during a rain event while we were there. I'd hate to see what would happen during a real blow. You'd potentially have the things bashing into vehicles with concrete pavers attached.
