Jakhu heights B&B

Staff nature is very good

Nothing

I recently stayed at Hotel Jakhu Inn, Shimla, and had an absolutely wonderful experience! As a solo female traveler, safety, comfort, and reliability are my top priorities, and this place exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The room was exceptionally spacious, clean, beautiful, and offered at an extremely affordable rate. What truly makes this property special, however, is the heartwarming hospitality of the host family, especially Vishal. From the moment I left Chandigarh station early in the morning, they kept in touch and guided me step-by-step on how to reach the property smoothly. When my bus arrived in Shimla, he was right at the dropping point to receive me. Because the hotel is located slightly uphill (though conveniently close to the Ridge, Mall Road, and the Christ Church), he personally arranged a porter (coolie) to haul my heavy luggage up so I wouldn't struggle. Throughout my stay, the entire staff was so cordial, attentive, and respectful. I felt completely safe, comfortable, and well cared for. If you are a solo female traveler, or anyone looking for a budget-friendly, spacious room with genuine, family-like warmth in Shimla, I cannot recommend Jakhu heights B&B enough! A huge thank you to the team for making my trip so memorable. I will definitely return!

Staff, cleanliness and location close to mall road and church.
