Lovely sea views, comfy bed and great internet; floors could be cleaner and stairs are steep.

Loved the location, comfortable bed, sheets and towels with lovely sea views. Internet speeds were superb and was able to check in on time.

The floors were a bit dirty, leaving socks/feet covered in dirt. Was unaware of the very steep second staircase up to the room, which people with mobility issues may struggle with. There were no oven pans, and the washing up liquid mysteriously vanished between days.

Not worth the price

The location was as described, and ideal for a visit to Great Yarmouth as you are on the beach in seconds and can walk to most places of interest within 10min. The views from the apartment are great with the sea, beach, and ferris wheel right in front of you. The apartment is ok for a short stay, and the sofa and bed are comfy enough. The furniture and fixtures are fine, although cheap and most seemed to be very new so not sure they will last long. The bath had a big crack in the plastic covering around it. The kitchen is functional and suitable for a short stay.

The access to the property is particularly concerning in terms of safety. To enter you have to walk around the back of the property, down an unmarked alley, and then up some particularly rusty stairs. To enter the apartment, and presumably the 2 below, you enter the hallway via the back door which is completely unlocked and remains so 24h a day. You have to go up two staircases (one outer, one inside) which are quite steep and narrow (this is not highlighted in the description), so not as accessible as one would imagine for a property advertised as family, child and pet friendly. It is also very concerning that there are 2 fire extinguishers in the property both of which have "DO NOT USE - OUT OF ORDER" written on them in pen, and on the maintenance record states that the last check was over 5 years ago. Before our stay we had confirmed with the host that we could have an early check in at 1pm, and paid £30 for it. When it came to the day we didn't receive any of the information needed to access the property until 2.30pm, making the early check in pointless. When I pointed this out to the host via message in the app, they implied it was our fault for not asking for the code earlier in the day, and that they had to "carry out a review" to see if a refund was "appropriate". Ultimately the refund was processed the day after we checked out. But this kind of communication, along with the other faults, particularly safety based ones, makes it unlikely we'd stay again.
