Nice and quiet 2 bedroom property

Nice quiet location. The property is in great refurbished condition. Big kitchen with lots of utensils. A quick 8 minutes drive to Oban city centre or the ferry cruise terminal. Visiting with a car is ideal. Efficient heaters.

Cleaning could be improved(some small bits) and the mattresses are a bit soft and not comfortable for our taste.

The way renting should be

Nothing not to like about this property,the owners have nailed it 100% the way it should be.As a family this was just what my mum and partner needed after some bad news.oban is a beautiful place to visit and town centre and retail park less than a mile away thank you so much

NOT CLEAN!

The place was spacious and the neighborhood was quiet.

We arrived to find dirty, wet towels hanging on the back of the two bedroom doors and a trash can full of rubbish. One dirty towel was badly marked and therefore quite disgusting! There was also food stuck to the countertop in front of the cooker, and crumbs on the kitchen countertop and the living room coffee table. The shower was very dirty and mail for someone was left inside the front door. To future guests, please note the following: 1.The bathroom door does not close easily. 2. The utility cupboard door does not close due to the presence of the hoover. 3. The fridge is exceptionally wobbly due to a missing foot. 4. The kitchen faucet needs to be changed. 5. The second bedroom beds are really kids' beds. My mother had to hold onto the side each time she shifted in order not to fall out. 6. The instructions on how to reach the house and where to find the keys need to be updated. The first needs more clarification and the latter is now incorrect. 7. There is currently NO hairdryer! 8. The beds are not comfortable. 9. One of the electrical sockets is pulling out of the wall. 10. The zips on the master bedroom duvet cover are broken. In addition, although we called the phone number provided, no one appeared to remove the dirty towels and trash. We had to take care of this as well as clean areas of the house ourselves. Overall the management company needs to make improvements and repairs, and also needs to hire a much better cleaner! We will NOT be returning to this property.
