Good view, big room, onsen.
The staff looks tired and not attentive, giving the wrong bills, the good quality is not very impressive.

I had an amazing view of the hills from my room. The room was quite spacious by Japanese standards, and the bed was very comfortable.
On the top floor, there is an onsen and a rotenburo (open-air bath) with a beautiful view of the sea and the white sandy beach. It was such a relaxing experience.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious - probably the best breakfast I had during my entire trip to Japan.
The only small thing I missed in the spa area was a comb. I didn’t bring mine from the room, so it would be a nice touch to have some available there for guests.

in general the hote is excellent in terms of space, location, facilities and the food at the restuarant.
however, i had a very bad dining experience during dinner. although the food was very good, there was a group of mandarin speaking guests talking very loudly and they were separated with a thin shield only. the staff forgot the drink that I ordered (hot tea with lemon) to be served with dessert, making me to wait for at least 15 mins. more. This is totally not the standard of service Marriott should have.
Besides, after I finished the hotspring and went to the souvenir shop, I was stopped by the hotel staff oddly and told me wereing yukata was not allowed to walk in the main lobby area, which was not stated in any notes or reminded by the stafd during the check-in!
