Lovely welcome from Tania & Celio & we really appreciated that they came & said goodbye when we left. The house is so lovely in a peaceful oasis of tranquility which must be fairly unique in this built up area. We were so comfortable, every little thing has been thought of & the bed was very comfortable . Great water pressure & hot water, a lovely private area to the back & gorgeous vista to the front. Tania had arranged 3 vases of fresh tropical flowers & there were delicious welcoming gifts in abundance. Really this is a rare find & we would absolutely return to Casa T Vina if we came back for more hiking in Madeira. There is also a small pod called Domus at the top of the hill where our 27 yr old stayed when she joined us for 3 nights. This has all the same attention to detail & she was very happy up there.
I would consider hiring an automatic car next time as the climb up from the property is steep!

Rien.

An absolute gem in Madeira! The house is simply stunning—beautifully decorated, brand new, impeccably clean, and extremely comfortable. The views from the house are breathtaking, making mornings and evenings truly special. The surroundings are quiet, peaceful, and charming, yet everything is easily accessible. On top of that, the hosts are wonderful, warm, and exceptionally helpful. I had an unforgettable stay and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended
