Great place to stay newar Wimbledon in lovely spacious 1 bed apartment

Space, location, amenities

Perhaps a small coffee machine?

8 / 10

Excellent value stay. Safe, quiet area with great transport links. Needs a little TLC

Location had excellent transport links (<15mins walk to both Northern Line and Wimbledon station). Price was excellent. Great sized premises. Good facilities. Clean on arrival.

Bed was quite lumpy. Could do with a mattress upgrade. Shower was slow to drain, shower head would not stay in position when moved above my head. Only one oversized mug for tea/coffee. No cafetiere or similar simple coffee making kit. Milk in fridge was out of date on arrival. Stairs to bedroom/living room were a little uneven, especially lowest half-step. Some paint was peeling on stairwell. Some windows did not have privacy curtains

Well below average noting that I spend more than 80 nights a year working on the road in Australia.

Location

Wimbledon week, price was v v good. Location worked for us

Bed is not good. Place isn’t spotless, sofa is grubby, ants seem to be everywhere- even the bed, shower held on by a plastic strap.
