The house lived up to its name. We were two families traveling with adult children, ten total. The kitchen and linens were stocked and the layout was great for us. Bedrooms were large w private baths each. Lots of porches and parking spaces. We noticed at check-in the second fridge and main floor den ceiling fan were not working. We requested maintenance and they were there within two hours (on July 4th). Got the fridge working but were not able to get the ceiling fan working. He was to order part Monday and get back to us but never did before our departure on Thursday. Luckily, we brought personal fans and there was a spare fan provided by host in the den. The bunk room on the ground level did not have air-conditioning vents and the host provided fans; however, the space was too hot and not usable other than as a bathroom. Luckily, we brought our own air mattresses and were able to inflate them in the large bedroom as the “girls” space. Prior to arrival, we sent 3 emails to mgt company; after no response we called them for info. Very responsive week prior and while there. Would recommend and stay there again just beware bunk space isn’t habitable in July. Bring fans and air mattresses. Thanks for opening up your home. We hope to be back!
