About this chalet rental
Located at an elevation of approximately 1,000 meters above sea level, the Stoaberghüttn is situated in a very quiet and idyllic spot on the edge of the forest in Steinberg am Rofan. You can easily reach the Stoaberghüttn by car year-round—without needing a vignette—via Tegernsee or Lenggries. In winter, winter tires and, if necessary, snow chains are required.
Please note that parties are not permitted at the Stoaberghüttn.
Accommodations
The Stoaberghüttn is ideally situated in both summer and winter. In summer, you can set out on hiking and biking tours right from your doorstep. Lake Achensee—Tyrol’s largest lake—attracts visitors with its clear water and a variety of water sports.
In winter, the cross-country ski trail is right in front of the cabin—the nearest ski lift is only about 1 km away.
The Christlum ski area in Achenkirch is about a 10-minute drive away by car or can be reached by ski bus.
Amenities at the Stoaberghüttn:
The four bedrooms can accommodate up to 12 people. You’ll have access to two bathrooms with heated floors and a modern, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, etc.). In the large living room, a wood-burning stove with a large viewing window ensures cozy evenings. You can enjoy the view of the fire from the seating area as well as from the comfortable leather sofa.
In addition to a high-quality stereo system—to which you can easily connect your MP3 player or USB drive—a 77-inch OLED 4K TV provides entertainment.
From the large living room, you can step out onto the approximately 10-square-meter balcony, which offers a magnificent view of the Guffert rock massif.
In addition to a sunny terrace with mountain views, the garden also features a hot tub—a wood-heated pool available year-round that, together with the sauna, creates your own private wellness oasis.
