About this chalet rental
Our family home, simple and comfortable, furnished with care, is an old fuste located in the heart of the village of Saint-Véran, the highest town in Europe (2040m), in the Queyras regional park. It is at the start of the hikes to the Lac de la Blanche, and a 10-minute walk from the slopes of the Molines-Saint-Véran area.
A large south-facing terrace overlooks the slate roofs of the houses in the neighborhood and the mountains that overlook us from their north face.
To take a break, we chose not to equip the house with Wifi, and to replace the television with a large collection of DVDs (Godard, Miyazaki, Les Bronzés...).
A fireplace-stove warms the common room, in which we cook and eat. Adjoining, a small cozy living room to drink an aperitif in winter.
The house also has a large ping-pong / ski-room, very practical.
The small bathroom is equipped with a large shower very nice. There are two separate toilets.
Upstairs, three bedrooms: two bedrooms with double beds, and a large bedroom, with a double bed and two single beds, in which children are usually accommodated.
The surrounding nature is omnipresent, and majestic.
This is the house in which we welcome our family when we are not coming with all our friends.
