Welcome to the completely newly furnished (2026) “Gartenfriese” duplex apartment, perfect for a getaway for two (with a toddler, if desired)! This high-quality accommodation at “Friesenfranz” on Wangerooge combines modern comfort with Nordic charm. Just a short walk, and you’re at the fine-sand beach!
A spacious 66 m² of living area and floor-to-ceiling windows give you a sense of openness. The bright living area, featuring a comfortable sofa nook, a modern smart TV, and a round dining table, invites you to relax after a walk on the beach. From the living room, you have direct access to the patio/garden. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, read, or wind down the day with a glass of wine.
The separate kitchen is fully equipped, allowing you to become a true gourmet even while on vacation. It features, among other things, a large refrigerator and brand-name appliances. Enjoy your first morning coffee in peace at the dining table with a beautiful view of the garden. You can choose between a Nespresso or a drip coffee maker. For tea lovers, a tea warmer is available to ensure your tea stays hot for as long as you like.
You can relax and sleep in comfort in the separate bedroom with its custom-made double bed. A modern Smart TV lets you watch TV comfortably from bed. A spacious, custom-built closet provides plenty of room for your vacation wardrobe.

The apartment’s private sauna is accessible via the garden/patio. From there, you can also reach the apartment’s outdoor shower.

The property is located in a central spot close to the beach—in about a 5-minute walk, you’ll reach Zedeliusstraße, where you’ll find small shops for daily necessities, the Kruse island bakery, as well as cafés and restaurants. More specifically, the house marks the western end of Friesenstraße and is thus nestled in the dune landscape, offering absolute tranquility—yet the island’s highlights are just a short, quick walk away.
Zedeliusstraße—Wangerooge’s “main promenade”—leads you directly to the boardwalk and the white sandy beach. Wide sandy areas for sunbathing, numerous beach chairs, and a wide range of sports activities guarantee the perfect beach experience for families, couples, and solo travelers. Along the promenade, you can comfortably round out your day at the beach in cafés and restaurants overlooking the North Sea.
At “Friesenfranz,” we offer three vacation apartments for two to four people. Each vacation apartment features a balcony or terrace, modern Smart TVs, its own washing machine, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, Nespresso machine, drip coffee maker, and much more. Custom-made furniture, elegant bathrooms with natural light, and a private sauna (Apartments 1 and 3) round out the amenities.
