It’s a brand new hotel that was beautifully designed. The rooms are spacious and well- appointed and the amenities well-curated. It’s located in a quiet residential area and away from the high-traffic tourist areas but within easy walking distance to many areas of interest as well as to 2 train stations. The staff were all very welcoming and accommodating, especially Ruby and Viola who welcomed us upon arrival and patiently answered our many questions. We highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is relatively near Kyoto Station (20min walk or 13min drive).
The rooms are clean, fairly spacious, and full of convenient amenities. In my room, there was a small desk, a futon bed, and a desk atop a tatami mat. Each bathroom includes a heated toilet, heated tub, and a shower. Room slippers are provided.
The staff were excellent. They were very helpful throughout, going above and beyond.
When we first arrived at the hotel, we were greeted warmly. The concierge explained the features of the hotel, making known that the laundry was available for free of charge, self-serve amenities were available in the lobby, and breakfast was available for purchase.
Meanwhile, staff are available at the front desk from 7AM until 10PM (but on call at all hours). Luckily, the staff are also fluent in English, which made our stay very convenient.
At the end of our stay, the staff allowed us to store our baggage after checking out and also assisted us with hailing cabs, loading out luggage into the cabs, and even held umbrellas for us in the rain.
I’m pleased with my stay and would recommend the Kiyomizu Elite Terrace

Great hotel near 7/11. Best little vegan restaurant called The Kind for breakfast a few doors down. Room was very spacious for Japan. Nice tub. Complimentary laundry facility was a huge plus.
